Judy Shiner is a Toronto based Art Director and Prop Stylist with over twenty five years' experience specializing in television commercials and stills.

She has also Art Directed several TV series, most recently “Kal Penn Approves This Message” which debuted on Freeform in the Fall of 2020 and “Stay Tooned” which premiered on CBC Gem in Winter 2022.

From finding a single exquisite antique silver teaspoon for a macro shot to building an entire Bangkok night market with neon and noodle stalls, Judy is comfortable both in the studio and on location and will leave no stone unturned until the sets and props are perfect!

Judy is an exceptional creative problem solver and a detail-oriented team player who possesses a finely honed aesthetic eye as well as a deep understanding of filmmaking.

And YES, she worked as the Art Director on the original Degrassi....WAAAAY BEFORE Drake!!

Outside of work, Judy has volunteered at The Distress Centre, The Assaulted Women’s Helpline, with JIAS Toronto to settle an Eritrean refugee family, and on Gala Fundraising Committees for the Canadian Film Centre, Young Peoples Theatre and ICRF -The Israel Cancer Research Fund.
